The Arts Centre has 3 well appointed fine, visual and/or music studio spaces available for individual artists to rent at an affordable rate for teaching purposes.

STUDIO 1:  Music Room - Small, well lit, air conditioned and/or heated

STUDIO 2: Music Room - as above equipped with a piano

STUDIO 3: Music Room - equipped with a piano

 There are two large open studios designed for workshop and general classes plus one open works shed. Practicing professional artists and people who have an artistic passion are encouraged to build a following by forming like minded groups for teaching or sharing of artistic skills.

STUDIO 4:  Workshop space for fine and visual arts. This area is designed for the teaching of fine and visual art disaplines. Furnished with working tables, security cupboard (for storage of tutors art materials), easels, whiteboard and is well lit with direct access to Wallendoon Street.  

Talk to the CCACC Committee as how you can start up your own classes and art activity. CCACC is especially looking for tutors to start up textile courses in fashion and costume making. 

STUDIO 5: Visual arts and craft studio. A large open space is well equipped with high tables for working standing or sitting on stools. It is well lit with direct access to the car park. This studio has a small kitchenette as well as a large sink for cleaning art tools etc. It opens out into a potters work space and then into a large open naturally lit shed or workspace (Studio 6).

Talk to the CCACC Committee as how you can start up your own classes and art/craft activity.

STUDIO 6: Backstage and workroom for project construction. This is a large open shed for large community projects or for set building. When completed it will have substantial work benches and open floor space for construction. Where this Studio joins Studio 5 it has a potters work area and storage. This shed forms the access to complex amenities. Adjacent to this shed is the

Large gas kiln  housed in a seperate shed adjoining potters work area. - manual controls

Small electric kiln in the potters storage space. This kiln has electronic timing controls. 

Usage of this space is by negotiation with CCACC Committee.

 MENS SHED: An independent shed but part of the Arts Centre Complex this area is under lease for a “men’s shed” development. For information on this facility contact Coota Men’s Shed.

COSTS FOR STUDIO SPACE USAGE:

• STUDIO 1: under lease to a graphic artist
• STUDIO 2: $70 a week - currently under casual lease
• STUDIO 3: $70 a week – currently under partial lease for 2 days to a music teacher.
• STUDIO 4: $5 per student per class with base rate of $20 a day.
• STUDIO 5: $5 per student per class with base rate of $20 a day per tutor
• STUDIO 6: To be negotiated.
