PLEASE NOTE: THE ARTS CENTRE  IS FOR THE EDUCATION, PRODUCTION, PERFORMANCE AND EXHIBITION OF ART AND CULTURAL ACTIVITY. DUE TO THE FACT THE COMPLEX IS BEING CONSTRUCTED AND RUN BY VOLUNTEERS IT IS NOT ALWAYS OPEN EXCEPT WHEN IN USE FOR ONE OR MORE OF THESE ABOVE ACTIVITIES. This Exhibition Room is 180 square metres in size. It has an  adjoining Reception area and catering facility.  Built in 1904 it was origionally used as a mechanics hall or carriageway.  The Cootamundra Shire Council won a Local Government and Shires Association Capital Infrastructure Award for this stage of the Arts Centre Project  in 2009. As a community asset this unique Arts Centre Project is important for the Cootamundra Shire as an arts recreational facilty that is drug free when used by our youth and younger community members but can also be a relaxing and motivating space for adults who just want a great night out.
